Diário da Mãe da Alice
Diário da Mãe da Alice is a book based on a mother’s blog, where she writes about her experience with her daughter Alice, who was born with cerebral palsy. The visual language we worked on is meant to follow the book’s writing style, which is delicate and optimistic. The illustrations, made by Bruno Campos (who did the outline) and myself, bring an element of unpredictability, as we tried to create abstract representations of what the text was describing. We brought color and creativity as a way of representing Alice’s world, which is a world of discovery and innocence.
